Thank you for your interest in American Friends of Bucerius, an independent, charitable 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2006. AFB supports programs of and carries out activities inspired by the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius, one of Germany’s largest private foundations. AFB works closely with the ZEIT-Stiftung's two flagship institutions: Bucerius Law School, Germany’s first private law school dedicated to enhancing international legal and business education, and the Bucerius Kunst Forum, an innovative art space for concept-driven exhibitions.
From its inception, Bucerius has placed a strong emphasis on its relationships in the United States. AFB strives to bring together the growing and dynamic Bucerius community in America to foster lifelong relationships with and between Bucerius alumni and the school's academic, nonprofit, and corporate partners. In 2009, American Friends of Bucerius opened a New York office to advance these efforts.
We look forward to expanding our work in the United States and to enjoying a warm welcome as we establish a home away from Germany.
