The ‘Friends’ in American Friends of Bucerius denotes a strong network in the United States and a fundamental element of the organization.
Many know the ZEIT-Stiftung, Bucerius Law School or Bucerius Education through direct collaboration with the institutions or involvement in distinct programs. Many stay in touch with their contacts and fellow classmates or colleagues. Traditionally, however, individuals have had limited exposure to the broader activities and people that make up Bucerius.
AFB amends this by connecting the broader Bucerius network in the United States, the largest outside of Germany. It brings together diverse professionals from law, academics, business, government and foreign relations and provides uniquely American platforms for fostering valuable, enduring relationships between individuals who share the common Bucerius thread.
From Bucerius Law School partner universities, alumni, deans, program heads and professors contribute to the AFB network. AFB also welcomes other professional contacts with an affinity for and deep connection to Bucerius programs.
